excluded image can not be included in gallery

    We have a website with WooCommerce. Every product has a featured image/product image and most product has a product gallery. The featured image is excluded from the gallery (option in gallery)
    Now we have updated WordPress and WooCommerce and the way you can make a gallery is changed. The option to exclude an image from the gallery is gone. Now we have a problem in WooCommerce. We want to include the featured image in the gallery now, but this featured image was excluded in the earlier version and now there is no way to undo this option anymore. Every image that was set not to show up in the gallery can’t be added to a gallery anymore. I’ve tried the unattach plugin, but that won’t work. Even unattached the image will not appear in the gallery. This is with every image once set to be excluded, also images that were added to another page can’t be added to a gallery, what is.. they can be added, but they just don’t show on frontend.
    Is there a way to undo the exclusing of this images?
