Excludes in one language but not both

This is a very handy plugin and I really like it. However, I’m using Polylang with Spanish and English languages and it will exclude one language category as either/or, but not both.
I created a new category in English and then its Spanish translation and excluded both in the settings, but it won’t exclude both.
Any solution please?
