Excluding a state from shipping/seling

add_filter( 'woocommerce_states', 'ywp_custom_us_states', 10, 1 );
function ywp_custom_us_states( $states ) {

    unset( $states['US']['MS'] );
    
    return $states;
}

Thanks for answering! Would I be adding this to the beginning of the code snippet in the link above, or exclusively using this snippet alone?

Tried the code snippet yazdaniwp gave above in my functions.php file, unfortunately I received this error:
Something went wrong. Your change may not have been saved. Please try again. There is also a chance that you may need to manually fix and upload the file over FTP.
