• Miquel, I’d like to share the a screencast video of what I’m seeing because it’s difficult to explain. I tried emailing it to you at the contact address listed on your migueluseche.com website, but it was rejected. I don’t feel comfortable sharing my development site publicly.

So I’ll do my best to explain.

Entire categories are being properly excluded (for instance, my “homepage slide” category is completely hidden), but when two instances of the widget are being used, posts that appear in the same month, but different categories are appearing on the archive page.

For instance, I have two categories “Press” and “News”. Each category has a single post. Both were published in September.

I have two instances of the widget. The “News Archive” widget should be excluding “Press”. The “Press Archive” should be excluding “News”.

When I click “September” from either of those widgets, post from both categories appear.

I’ve tried using my custom theme and wordpress twenty fifteen with the same results. I’m using the most recent version of wordpress and your plugin.

Please let me know if you’d like any additional information.

    Thank you!

You can send me an email to migueluseche at skatox dot com. Maybe the screencat should be uploaded temporary to a website and send me the link.

Thanks for the report, so the problems is that is mixing exluding categories when using more than 1 instance?

Thank you! I’ve sent a link to the video. Your description of the issue is correct!
