Excluding IP Address not working

What would some of the reasons be for the GA exclusion filter not working on my website?

I input my I.P address

Filter type set to exclude

Traffic from the I.P addresses

That are equal to

Initially I thought it was because the Yoast Analytics plugin was not working but having pasted the code manually through header.php just before the </head> tag and I’m still picking up my activity.

In fact both times I am counted as a visitor for every page I visit. So if I visit 6 pages, there are 6 active users on the site.

Does anybody here know how to fix the problem?
