Excluding media searches not working

Sorry for delay, appreciate your patience!

By default WordPress does not include media attachments in search results at all.
Could you please provide me with the version of WP and list of plugins you are using?
Also if possible functions.php would be great if you modified it manually. So that I could debug the problem.

The wordpress version is 4 and the plugins in use are:

Advanced custom fields
Advanced custom fields repeater
Back up wordpress
Breadcrumb navXT
Contact form 7
Nivo Slider
Search everything
Search Exclude
WP missed schedule

I’ll take a look in functions.php. The site is a third party site which I’ve taken on so will investigate a little further.

Oh, I believe the problem is somehow related to “Search everything” plugin.
Meanwhile will try it and see if there is a conflict with “Search Exclude”.
Still would be great to look for anything suspicious in functions.php.
