Excluding the first post image

  • Hi, this question to your reply to previous topic i.e “Excluding the first post image”

    I want also to exclude first or feature image of each of my post that appear above the fold.

    I used your custom code for it on my wordpress site but its not working the first image is still lazy loaded.

    Please also guide me where to add this code in function.php (at the end of function.php file or in between something?)

    Hey @farhansheikh,

    the code from https://gist.github.com/florianbrinkmann/abdf929694a72e75c33d7a4254301f42 should still work, the position in the functions.php file is not important, just inserting it there should be enough. That does not prevent the featured image from lazy loading but the first image in the post content. If it does not work in your case, there may be a problem between Lazy Loader and your theme. Before further investigation, is that still something you would like to be fixed? Because I noticed you seem to be using another lazy loading solution now ??
