• Hello:

I searched and could not find my issue in the forums. There is no site yet, as I am trying to install it. All the settings appear correct for PHP memory_limit, max_execution_time, etc. Backup and importbuddy in same location on server. After getting to what looks like 98%, it stalls, and then the below error appears. Can anyone help, point me in the right direction, or let me know if I’m in the wrong forum? The issue is ongoing for several days the hosting company is no help.

    Unzip fail: https://cl.ly/aYCZ
    404: https://cl.ly/aWq4

    Thanks

I went in and extracted the zip files via cPanel and then clicked “Skip Unzipping” in the advanced options on the first page of import buddy. Problem solved.

So this is about using a plugin? Which one (so other people may be able to make use of this thread?)

This was using Backupbuddy. The Backupbuddy and Importbuddy files completed successfully and were downloadable in the backend of WordPress. But after installing the .zip and .php to the host server and then going to xxxxxx.com/importbuddy.php, to install the site from dev server to new hosting, the files wouldn’t unzip and go past step 1.

Okay, great – thanks. Glad you got it sorted and working :). Since that’s a commercial plugin, the best place for support (for anyone else who finds this thread) will be with the developers of the plugin.

I agree. But I haven’t heard back from them at all in over 24 hours, so I was hoping maybe someone could help me here. Had to try all options, I was pulling my hair out! Haha. Have a good one WPyogi!
