Execution of wp_update_post blocked by YOAST

I am reporting this issue as it caused me a headache, I spent days with YOAST in my site then disabled it as it conflicted with the plugin Ali2Woo, for some reasons products which were imported through this plugin were stuck in draft folder and never published. I raised the issue with Ali2Woo team below you find their reply:

we examined your problem and found that when you try to save a post using the standard wp function wp_update_post ($ post_arr), the execution is blocked by a third-party plugin Yoast SEO. I deactivated this plugin and the product import process resumed.

Also, some data needed to complete the import of the product was lost. Because of this, many products will no longer be able to be imported. You need to remove them and import them again.

Can you please check on your end and get back to me if this is something you can help with ? Why this conflict ? How to fix it?

For now I removed YOAST from my site and moved to another author I would really appreciate if you help me to fix it so I install it again.
