Exerpts on Home page not going to full post

  • Hi!
    My blog site it: https://grandmasgirlcooks.com.

    When you are on the Home page, you want to take a look at the Current News column.
    When you click on the title to the recipe, it should take you to the full post and recipe for it, but only on some of the posts it will and some it won’t.
    It starts at the Stuffed Mushrooms. When you click it, it will take you to the excerpt, not the full recipe. Then, if you click Continue Reading Stuffed Mushrooms, the page does nothing.
    I find it odd that it only does this to some posts and not all of them.
    Any suggestions?

    GrandmasGirlCooks, For one of the recipes that you’re having the issue with, did you try writing the post again to see if the issue is with how you wrote it in the first place? For example, you may have copied and pasted something wrong, or typed something in the WYSIWYG when it should have gone in the plain text editor.

    I wrote the post again and now it works.

    Now gonna have to rewrite the others that don’t work and to figure out the alignment of the showcase and current news columns so they match up. One solved, now one more to go.

    Wow, so it looks like we’re making progress!?

    Have you compared the new post to the original to see if there are any differences?

    I studied the post and no difference..I have no clue why. Now I am going thru all my posts and seeing if they don’t open up, so I’m gonna have to repost them too.
