• Can anyone tell me why IE has to suck so badly… Aye caramba…
    Exhibit 1.1d is available.
    Changes:

    • Fixed preview selection problem.
    • Fixed client-side display of added images.
    • The code that Exhibit inserts into the post body when clicking on an image in the list is now configurable.
    • Added button to file-picker to add full-sized image tag to post body.
    • Added uber-popup code – Allows visitor to click through all images attached to the post without closing the popup.

If you’re trying to do something in Exhibit and you think it should work but it doesn’t, please try it with FireFox before you report it so that I know whether to look at javascript or PHP. Please?

  • Nevermind – I answered my own question. I saw that the stuff that used to get appended to wp-layout.css is now in exhibit.css and that the float:right css entry was missing for .ex_thumb_preview.
    Awesome plugin.

is there a way to make the image file name the default caption?

ringmaster, well, IF you ever figure out that caption-problem, I’d be really happy ?? but is is possible there is some difference between version c & d that does it since captions worked in the c-version for me?

    re: downsample
Yes, that works! I have overlooked it the first time. Thanks ??

Is 1.1e coming anytime soon with all the fixes ??

chrisada, I’m glad that was the function you needed! anon, maybe owen does have better things to do than updating exhibit? ?? not to say that I am not looking forward to 1.1e ??

    Sigh.
With troubles in EzStatic and Adhesive land (not to mention remembering that I have a family after two weeks of solid coding), I’ve not had a lot of time to mess with Exhibit. Sorry.
I’m not sure what fixes 1.1e would have, apart from allowing certain people to edit captions, and I haven’t figure that one out yet. As far as the differences in code go, there aren’t any that I can see that would affect caption editing. ??
Is there a requested feature list that I missed? Doesn’t this thing already do too much? I’ll need to release a “light” version. Yikes.

heh, I haven’t seen a wishlist. if you ask me, exhibit does everything I want and more.
the only things I would like to see in a new version would be a) me able to edit captions, and, as long as you do not know what’s wrong I’ll have to wait ?? b) the problem with ‘s in the captions, but I could fix that myself if you just could point me in the right direction.
I don’t want you to forget your family though. my boyfriend sighs everytime I just LOOK at the computer, he says my computer is my true love. so I know the feeling of guilt :DDD

Where is the apostrophe causing problems for you? I’ll look for it in the code. I thought I had gotten all of those.

sorry if i’m asking in the wrong place, but is there any way to get the image file name to be the default caption? i tried searching and couldn’t find anything on it

    (@ringmaster)

Hmm. No, I don’t think it can do that. Drat.

oh it’s in the captions when I use the experimental popup-script, but maybe you’ve fixed it and I’m just too stupid to realize that I only would have to download 1.1d again? ??

    (@ringmaster)

Ah, no. I think that may be still borken. It is experimental after all. ??

heh, ok, then I have a wish for ver. 1.1e – a less-experimental-experimental pop up script ?? because it’s really neat.
I’ve also noticed that it does resize when you navigate through the photos, but not all the time.

Hi, I’m curious if I can remove the thumbnails re-appearing in the bottom of the everypage, and most likely remove it all together?
    Thanks!
