Exif, Iptc

  • Hello,

    I don’t want to remove any of the Exif & Iptc data.
    I haven’t found any option to do this…

    What can I do to prevent this plugin to remove that kind of data ?
    If I need to modify a file in this version of reSmush it’s Ok. But which one ?

    Or perhaps I miss something somewhere….

    Also is there a way to only compress thumbnails and not touch the original ?

    Hi Bernard,

    The API supports to remove or not exif data, but the option is not yet available in the plugin.

    This feature will be soon supported, I advice you not to modify the core of the plugin, as if there’s update, you may have some new issues :S

    There’s no way to compress some thumbnails without touching the original, we’ve tried to keep the interface quite simple with few options. But we’ll think about ??
