“Existing Ads.txt file found”

Hi,
When I log into my Google adsense account it says “Earnings at risk – You need to fix some ads.txt file issues to avoid severe impact to your revenue”. I followed all of the instructions and added the publisher ID to the Ads.txt Manager plugin but it’s still not working.
The plugin displays the message below.
“Existing Ads.txt file foundAn ads.txt file on the server will take precedence over any content entered here. You will need to rename or remove the existing ads.txt file before you will be able to see any changes you make on this screen.
Removed the existing file but are still seeing this warning? Re-run the check now”
and after re-running it still does not work.
I would really appreciate some help with this as it is effecting my revenue.

Hi @simshomekitchen, can you confirm that there isn’t
ads.txtfile on your public folder (the folder contains the WordPress source code)?You can check by deactivating
Ads.txt Managerand visiting https://simshomekitchen.com/ads.txt. If the link is anything other than not found, it means that you haveads.txtfile on your server.
