Existing Disqus comments not showing

Hi,

I currently have the Disqus comment plugin installed on my site, with some posts having comments on them made via this. I’ve just installed this plugin and entered my Disqus short name (which I know is correct) but for some reason the existing comments do not show up.

The weird bit is that when first loading there is an extra section under the Disqus comment area showing other comments made around the site (can’t remember what the actual section is called). This section shows a comment on the post I’m looking at (showing that it can see them) and when I click on it the page reloads with the comments now showing, but without that section.

I’m not sure what the issue is, as I cannot see any relevant settings and I’ve tried disbling the existing plugin but that doesn’t work. Has anyone else had this, and know how to fix it?
