Existing Even Organizers and Venues not showing correctly when adding new event

Same for me. Note that 4.6.21 does not suffer from this bug.

Hey @ritstyx, how does one go about rolling back to 4.6.19? I was really stunned after updating and years of info disappeared!

Same problem but only if not logged in as superadmin.
I have tested with admin and editor role but nothing wortks.
I have also tested locally on a fresh wordpress with default theme and no other plugin -> same result.
Also when I have disabled the google map feature how could it be that I get a checkbox for adding a link to google map?

Hi @randallscottholbrook, you can rollback by downloading an older version here: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/the-events-calendar/advanced/. Then upload it to oyur server overwriting the current version. I recommend using an FTP upload for this if possible.

Thanks Mark. After the last events plugin snafu which borked the site, I decided that I’d wait a couple of days after each new release to see if it was safe before updating. Failed to follow my own policy this time.

So does anyone know if this bug is being fixed ? I’m new to this site and cannot find any indication of an update to resolve.

Hi everybody!

We just became aware of this bug and are working on a fix.

The issue is related to the user associated with the venues and organizers. Only those that show up as “mine” will show in the dropdown.

A temporary solution is to visit and resave the venue or organizer before trying to add it to an event. Or you can rollback to the previous version of the Events Calendar.

We are going to release a hotfix for this as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience.

Yes that ties up, I can only see the venues and organisers that I have created.

You have to redo your Google Maps API under the plugin’s settings. Google updated their policy, so you’ll have to give Google your credit card info so they can verify you, but they won’t charge you unless you manually upgrade @randallscottholbrook
