existing galleries don't show all photos on website

Activating this plugin causes my existing galleries to only show 3-6 of the attached photos on my website. Upon deactivating the plugin all the photos showed back up. I would love to use this plugin for private client galleries, proofing, and downloading. Please tell me how!!
