    Hi There,

    I just installed your plugin as I need to accomplish couple of things it promises to do. For your reference, here is basic info from the debug window:
    EWWW IO version: 285.0
    WP version: 4.5.2
    PHP version: 50329
    ewww_image_optimizer_gallery_support()
    Nextgen version: 2.1.43

    And here are my questions. I did watch all your “how to” videos to make sure I am using the plugin correctly. Also, all images we are talking about here are in Media folders – as they were uploaded directly to library or posts or pages.

    1) Under advanced settings I have set Resize Media Images to 1400 and 1000, and also checked Resize Existing Images. However, when I go to the library and click on “Optimize Now” by an image that is 2MB and 4000×3000 the image is not resized and compression is only 6-7% (I guess that’s because it didn’t resize). So how do I make it resize to 1400 wide?

    2) Will the resize work once I run the full bulk optimizer?

    3) If answer is Yes for point #2 then how do I exclude couple of specific images from being optimized by the plugin?
    I don’t want about 50 images to be optimized (logo, big slider images, etc) because I have optimized them myself when developing the site. Overall, there is about 400 images on the site.

    4) We have 3 users on the blog and only one (me) know how to optimize images in Photoshop. That provides better compression results so I do that. However, should I upload those images then they would get optimized by the plugin again, correct? How do I avoid that?

    Thank you very much! I believe the plugin will work for me but just need to understand a little bit more about it before I run a full Bulk Optimizer.

    Cheers,

    Stan
