    Hello,

I currently use this plugin on one of my sites and it works well as we started with a fresh GMC account.

Now I would like to use this for a site that already has an established GMC and ads account that has products and 10+ campaigns already setup. My question is how will this work with my existing setup?

My goal here is to simplify the product changes and shipping rates by using your plugin but I do not want to mess up the existing campaigns and products assigned to them.

    Hello @chopperstwisted,

The Google Listings & Ads plugin is designed to work seamlessly with your existing Google Merchant Center (GMC) and Google Ads accounts, even if they have already been set up with products and campaigns.

Connecting the plugin to your GMC account will sync your WooCommerce products to the GMC. It will not remove or alter the existing products or campaigns in your GMC or Google Ads account. Instead, it will add your WooCommerce products as new listings in GMC.

Similarly, the shipping rates configured in WooCommerce will be synced to GMC, but it will not affect the existing shipping settings in your GMC account. However, to make sure shipping rates remain as it is, here’s what I recommended:

    • Go to Marketing > Google Listings & Ads, under Programs, click “Edit”
    • In the Shipping rates section, ensure it’s set to “My shipping settings are complex” That’ll ensure manually defined rates in GMC are used and prevent the extension from syncing your store’s rate.

Here is a recorded video of how to navigate to the shipping settings for you: https://d.pr/v/BIaCuM

And to disconnect the previous account properly:

Next, go to Marketing > Google Listings & Ads and set up the connection again using your other account.

If you encounter any issues or have further questions, please ask.
