Existing Subscribers Message

Good afternoon

I’ve added a competition entry subscribe form to a website that I am working on but now when an existing subscriber enters there is a message that says that subscriber is already subscribed and can update preferences. How can I have this message not appear and just add the subscriber to the new tag set up for that form?
