    Hello,

    This is a new area I created on the website and used dummy accounts to test it out which was all good until the update.

    A user gets an email that says the following;
    Here are your credentials:
    Username:
    Password: {%password%}

    A user also gets an email that says “Please follow the link to set your password:…” but when you click on the link it goes to the home page.

    I was able to register and create a test ticket. You can see it in the help desk.

    The system no longer auto-creates passwords for users as of version 1.7. Please update the email template for user registration, and remove the password field from it, as it’s no longer needed.

    The Reset PW link isn’t working, i get automatically re-directed back to the homepage. Do you have any re-directs active on the site that could be causing this?

    yes, for first time support ticket creation is ok but not able to login as an existing user. so you wouldn’t be able to login with the credentials you used at this point which is the problem.

    the only redirects i have is;
    /product-category/woocommerce/
    /shop/
    / wp-login.php to /login
    admin login and redirect

    sorry but which template and what lines do i remove for the password field?

    I wonder if the redirect you have with the login has something to do with this. I tested going to various login pages on your site and I can see re-directs. Can’t be sure if this is related though.

    are you able to test disabling login redirects, perhaps on a staging environment.
    That’s my only guess at this time. We can do further troubleshooting, but for that you’ll need to create a ticket on our help desk.

    thank you, i just created a support ticket on your site and it is doing exactly the same thing.

    a support ticket was created.

    i tried to go back in and it asks for email and password which i do not have.

    it sent a link to setup a password but the link does not work which is the same issue on my site.

    This issue should be resolved in version 1.7.1 please update once you get the update notification in your plugins list.

    Hello,

    We have quite the same problem. We are using the version 1.7.1
    I have a consecutive issue with log in with existed user:

    1. Step: typing my email address
    2. Step: typing my password
    And at this step nothing happening, no error message, no any visible change on the site
    I’ve tried with support admin user
    And with support user as well and none of them working

    Could help me, what the reason can be?
