I am sorry that I have mixed up the support groups before, the original post is at Taxopress forum and I want to move my question here.

I have got a reply as below:
The plugin won’t hide any tags on the Posts > Tags screen. Perhaps check to see if you have any filters enabled on the Tags screen.

But I must say that it really happens on my site. I did not turn on any filters (and I do not now where to turn on the filter in fact). For more detail procedure to repeat the issue:

    1. There are 55 tag items originally
    2. Activate Tag Groups plugin
    3. The tag page (Posts -> Tags) becomes an empty page. No tags are found. I believe that they are not really gone however, as they can still be displayed on my site. It seems to be a UI display problem in the CMS.
    4. The tags page is back to normal after I disable the Tag Groups plugin

Hi @balinsa. Thanks for using Tag Groups. This isn’t a problem we can re-create or have had reported before.

Do you see any errors related to this in your site’s error logs?

Do you have any other plugins that modify Tags?

I have solved the problem, but I don’t know what I have done to cause the cure. I observed some php error logs about RankMath, my SEO plugin. So I disabled it – and the issue was solved. I reasonably think there is a conflict between Tag Groups and RankMath, but after I reactivate RankMath, the previous issue is gone, and I cannot repeat it anymore.

Thanks @balinsa. This remains something we can’t replicate in our testing. Please share any specific error messages you find.

Hi, I got the same problem with this plugin. After installing and running the setup wizard, all tags are not displayed anymore in the tag list, in backend. I have no filters set. In the frontend, you can still reach the pages tho. I did not discover a php error in the debug log.

The shortcodes of your plugin still display the tags in the editor.

In the Tag Group admin menu, it says, that all my 52 tags are not associated with any tag group.

@ehoff Please open a new thread for a new problem. The original poster says that this was a problem with the Rank Math SEO plugin.
