• this is a clip just to clarify the box im referring to. after every post update, you get the “post updated – view post” yellow banner across the top of the WP editor. and the only way it seems to close is to drag trackpad to right and click X. idk if theres a way to make a keyboard shortcut for it, as click into another section of editor or hitting ‘escape’ doesn’t get rid of it. an with a lot of blogging, it adds up to 100+ times / day of blicking that box. Any tweaks you can recommmend? thnaks!

You can reload the page with Ctrl-R or equal, but that’s worse then clicking IMO. Why don’t you simply ignore it? Yes, it’s a little distracting, but less annoying than clicking to clear.

actually, sorry ur right…i think i thought it was a problem at the beginning when gutenberg was released and the yellow box would cover the top box to change permalink…so i got in the hiabit off exiting…but i see now that it doesnt obstruct any other boxes now, so control R it is.just want to be able to customize the workflow with as little trackpad pinpointing as possible. thanks!
