exluded symbolink link trgigers backup error .wp_cli at root

Hello,

My hosting provider has a introduced a new security rule : he creates a .wp_cli synbolinc link at /htdocs root of my site (ie the folder contanining wordpress directory).
Since that I get the BackWPup error :

Since years I use the option to backup root folder, in order to catch some folders aside WordPress one. Removing this option WordPress folder backup works again OK. But this does not satisfy me.

I did place the “.wp_cli” in “File/Folder to exclude” list. But this do not solve the issue.

Any clue to help on solving this ?
