Expand or Collapse Subcategories

Hi,
there is a Dependant Category Dropdown snippet https://github.com/simpliko/wpadverts-snippets/blob/master/dependant-taxonomy-dropdown/ it will replace the categories drop-down tree with a dropdown which allows selecting a first level category, once you do that a drop-down with level 2 categories appears and so on.

Hi, it will not work with the drop-down on the [adverts_list], mainly because something like this would break the search bar layout.
