Expandable / Collapsible sidebar menu in Neve

    Hi all,
    I have an issue with the Neve theme – which is great for everything but not for toggle expandable/collapsible menus.

    This is the default menu that I get with Neve through the customize option:

    Unfortunately second-order and third order pages appear indented but the menu is not expandable / collapsible. If I use elementor, I get this for the Navigation menu:

    1) normal:

    As on the sidebar menu of this page:

    which is exactly what I want but, of course, it is really time consuming to use Elementor to create sidebars for each page. I have also tried several sidebar replacement plugins so far, but with no success.
    Is there a way to make the menu this way on Neve or should I change theme instead?

    Ah, I also would like to add that I am trying the various widgets that may help me to display the menus as I want (e.g. Accordion menus, toggle menus etc.), but so far I have not found the plugins that display the menu with a style that I like. Therefore, I accept also plugin suggestions!

    Thank you for using the Neve theme.

    Indeed, for such menu, you need either a bit of custom coding or 3rd party plugin.

    We do not have a specific recommendation, however, this is one of the first plugins that popped up for me – https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/bellows-accordion-menu/ (it should help you achieve something similar).
