Expired job permalink is changing (unfriendly)

    Hi,

    Does anyone experience the expired job link becomes unfriendly like this one:
    https://prnt.sc/WTizn8Sq_bnA

    How to stay the link like: website.com/job/shell-global-recruitment

    This only happens to expired jobs.

    Please help.

    I looked into this and can confirm that this behavior exists. We have an existing bug report open for it here:

    https://github.com/Automattic/WP-Job-Manager/issues/2135

    I have added your report to the issue.

    At present, there isn’t a fix for this.

    Hi, I have no solution for this issue. I am so curious about how to get rid of this unfriendly permalink. This is not from WP Job Manager Plugin but the WordPress version. I tried downgrading the WordPress to version 5.6 as you can see here https://prnt.sc/J_lnhWTUOf42 and now the expired job link works fine.

    I think I will keep using this version. If you want to downgrade the WordPress version, you can use WP Downgrade Plugin.

    I hope this helps, thank you, and do not forget to backup your file before downgrading.

    We don’t recommend downgrading your WordPress version. WordPress updates often contain essential security fixes as well as new features, and reverting to an old version may leave your website vulnerable to hacks or cause further compatibility issues with your themes and plugins.
