explanation how to setup the domein names, dns and alias

    I understand how your plug-in is working and how to set it up.
    But what i don’t find is how to do the server settings to get this working properly.

    Now the plug-in is simple doing a redirect:
    isabellevanassche.com
    becomes (redirect)
    isabbart.be/isabelle

    But i want that it stays isabellevanassche.com while the multi-site is under isabbart.be/isabelle

    I have administrator rights on the server.

    I have search the web but nothing to find how to setup the server to get this working.

    1) if WordPress is installed in isabellevanassche.com you can map a site isabellevanassche.com/isabelle/ to isabbart.be (with pages like isabellevanassche.com/isabelle/page1/ to isabbart.be/page1/). You can’t map a domain name plus folder; you can only map a domain name.

    2) If WordPress is installed in isabbart.be/isabelle: You can’t do domain mapping with WordPress installed in a subfolder (it will work with WordPress installed in the root of the account or the root of a subdomain). If /isabelle is a folder, you have to move WordPress.

    3) If by “i want that it stays isabellevanassche.com” you mean visitors see isabellevanassche.com in their browser address bar, then set the Domain Mapping so isabellevanassche.com is “Primary” (with WordPress installed in somedomain.com and isabellevanassche.com as a mapped domain subdomain.somedomain.com or somedomain.com/subfolder)
