    Hello,
I have a question before I download the plug in. When you export the slider, does all the layers that you added also get exported? I have had troubles with previous sliders only exporting the background image.

    Hi @loeppkydesigns!

With our export your layers are exported too, so every setting/data your slider + slides + layers have will be exported!

How will they be exported? As jpegs or as an additional slider? I am looking for JPEG so we can add them to your PowerPoint to be viewed on a tv screen.

With the “Export slider as HTML” option:
    https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/408-slider-options
you would get an export with the files and html codes the slider needs.

    With the export option:
    https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/370-import-slider#export
you would get a filetype, which can be imported inside another Smart Slider 3 installation.

So I’m sorry, we don’t have an option to export the slides as images and you couldn’t use it inside PowerPoint. For your case I would suggest trying out the “Export slider as HTML” by itself, so not trying to use the slider inside other places, just open up the index.html file in your browser and take a look, maybe that will work for you. With F11 you can make your browser’s screen fullscreen and it could look good on a TV.

Thank you. They don’t have a computer hooked up to the TV, they just use a flash drive. Will this feature still work?

Usually Smart TVs do have their own built in browser. In that case you could try to open up the html file just to see if that browser is good enough to handle it, but if it wouldn’t be, as an alternative solution you could try to upload the exported HTML into your website’s FTP and check out its url in this browser.

Another alternative I could think of is if you would record your computer’s screen. Our slider could autoplay:
    https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/60-autoplay
so it could switch automatically, you could make it fullscreen in your browser with F11 and then for example we are using Camtasia to record our videos and I could suggest trying out that for you too. Then you would have an mp4 file, which can surely be played on a smart TV.
