Export Bug – strips trailing spaces

Well this is a big bag of pain.

I use Markdown to format my posts.

Markdown uses 3 blank spaces at the end of a line to indicate a manual line break.

But if you export/import from one WordPress installation into another ALL THE TRAILING SPACES ARE GONE.

I would like to request that post text be left alone, and trailing spaces NOT be deleted, as they have now FUBAR’d my entire site.

Just export what I put in, and import what is exported, without “interpreting” or “improving” it.
