Export/Download everywhere.

    Hey it would be nice if a visitor could download the GPX from everywhere, not only in the details page, which basically requires the map header to be displayed in order to be accessed, and it needs you to leave the page in which the initial map is displayed (which you don’t want if you are reading the article).

    I’d like a download button to appear below my map or even better as a standalone shortcode, like: 

    [Waymark map_id="1649" export_only=1]

    so users could put it in a different place, like the beginning of the page, or inside a table with trip recommendations, informations and details. That would be great.

    Hi @alessandroavenali,

    Thanks for reaching out and for your suggestion. I like this idea and will think about how I can integrate this into the plugin.

    This is possible using some JavaScript to “clone” the Export option and add it to your site as desired.

    I have put together this example which demonstrates this.

    The code is just a proof of concept and may need modifying for your needs. I hope you find it useful.
