Is there any way to export events besides using Tools -> Export? I’m currently redesigning a site for a client and the current company that handles their WordPress only gave them limited access so there is no Tools in the navigation. I’m stuck because they have 200 events that I really don’t want to add manually.

  • Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out.

You could also try the “Export .ICS file” option that appears under the “Subscribe to Calendar” button on the main events page. By default, the subscribe and export features only allow the first 30 events, but you can modify the behavior to include other events by referencing the steps in this article: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/changing-the-number-of-events-in-ical-export/

Please try this and let me know if it works for you.

    Best regards,

Am I able to import that ICS file into the admin area? I thought that was just to add it to your personal calendar.

    Thanks!

Thanks for getting back to me.

If you have our Events Aggregator add-on, then yes, you can import an ICS file from the admin area. Sorry I forgot to mention that earlier.

    Best regards,
