Export/Import changes IDs

    I’ve exported the XML bulk file from my dev site to the production site, but I found that, while all the other Ad info is correct, then imported, ids are different, and hence, not found by my theme pages.

    Is there a way to export/import them exactly the same way?

    Hi mauferrusca,

    since the ad IDs basically come from WordPress, forcing the same with the import could seriously break things.

    I understand that you used one of the PHP functions to display an ad directly in a theme, right?

    I would suggest using a Manual Placement instead since this would also enable you to change the ad for that position without going into the code every time.

    Hi, Thomas. Yeah, I noticed the IDs do not match due to other WP content, so matching them would be disastrous.
