Export / import on website switch

  • Hi, this plugin is great, but when you choose it, how to export data and settings from an old website to a new one?

    Its look this feature is not available, is an SQL way otherwise ?

    Hi Mike,

    Unfortunately, there is no built-in option to import and export all the plugin’s data.

    If you still have your old site up, then the easiest/best way might be to port your site over would be to export your database directly from the old site (i.e. via phpMyAdmin) and then import that database into your new database (i.e. also via phpMyAdmin). This will make the new site an exact copy of the old site (provided you also copied over all the files to the new server). Alternatively, there are a few plugins that are designed to help with migration and which are supposed to take care of that database export/import for you, such as: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/search/migrate/.
