    Hi,

I need to have my form translated to several languages. I use qTranslate plugin but FluentForms seems to be disconnected from it, so I am creating a different form for every language. OK, I can duplicate it in the original language (e.g. English).

However, is it possible to export all the texts (Labels, content, error messages, Help, Multiple-choice/Dropdowns, etc.) into a table to be translated into e.g. 20 languages & then imported into each language-dedicated form? (My form is quite detailed and dynamic, so running a tutorial for each translator & then trying to check/correct all the Condition matches etc. in Turkish, Chinese++ will be Hell, as well as very time-consuming & thus expensive!)

    Thanks.

It seems my best option is to Export each duplicated & renamed form (Turkish_form, Chinese_form, etc.) in .json & to have it translated in a CAT tool (“Computer-Assisted Translation”, e.g. the donationware OmegaT) which will separate out the editable text from the code, by a translator that uses that or a similar tool.

However… the built-in datasets (such as Country or Telephone Country Codes), are not accessible to copy, export, translate & re-import and are not in the .json file exported. Are they accessible somewhere else where I can access them, translate & reimport them for a given form? (I don’t see translation options in the WPmanageninja docs.)

(My Plan B would be to create a new Dropdown/Multiple choice label instead of the list so I could export it & translate it, although this doesn’t seem ideal.)

I don’t see an option to contribute translations either & I may be able to help here.

    Hello Newrone,

Fluent Forms Supports its strings translation so you can build a website with a different language by translating the strings. The strings will be shown based on site language.

However, Fluent Forms is not compatible with any multilingual plugins hence I am afraid it is not possible to translate a form into several language at once. Regarding workaround you are trying, you can create a dropdown and add country names as bulk as shown in the screenshot. For the phone field, this is not possible unfortunately.

    Thank you
