export keeping shortcode ID

    Hi there,
    I have just tested exporting about 550 tables from one WordPress installation to a new one, but all of the shortcode IDs seem to have changed now, so wherever they are inserted in the website, they are now wrong.
    Is there a way to export and import without changing the shortcode ID?

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    The best way to completely migrate a set of tables, while also keeping the IDs, is to export everything in the JSON format. I recommend to export bunches of e.g. 50-100 tables to a ZIP archive with the JSON format, and then re-import the ZIP archive on the new site.
