Export Media?

  • Hello,

    I have a large number of images in my Media Library I would like to Export/Import to another site. The Import failed but it didn’t say why. On my first try, I selected all of the Media mages. On my second try, I selected only 1 month of the Media mages. Both failed. How should I proceed? Thanks.

    What process did you follow to import the images? Did you get any error messages even if it doesn’t explain the reason why the import failed?

    If you have only images in your media file, you can try the following for the export. On the left menu of your dashboard > Tools > Export > Media then select the range date and click on Download Export File. https://cloudup.com/ccqIhc_qLE6

    Then you will use this .xml file to import the images: Tools > Import > WordPress Run Importer > Choose file (the file you exported) > Upload file and import > Submit.
