    Dear all,

i tried to filter my submissions and export these. While the filter are working fine when i set them in the forminator submission tab, as soon as i export this data it always exports the whole list without filter. I even checked the filter checkbox but it wont work for me.
Can you please help me with this?

    Hi @1jd123

I hope you are doing good today.

I made a test on my lab site and I could not replicate this issue. As soon I filter my submission page and click on an EXPORT button (I also use the checkbox called “Apply Submission Filters”) my CSV file does not contain skipped data from filters.

Can you try once more and confirm you use the checkbox called “Apply Submission Filters”?

    Kind Regards,
    Kris

    Hi @1jd123,

Could we know whether you are using the latest version of the plugin ie v 1.22.1?

I tested in my system and couldn’t replicate any such issue with the latest version.

Could you please confirm whether you notice the same issue if you temporarily disable all the plugins except Forminator? This step will help in ruling out if there are any conflicts.

Please do let us know how that goes.

    Kind Regards,

    Nithin

    Hi @1jd123

    Thank you for the information,

I made a test on my website but it worked well.

Could you please export your form and share it using pastebin.com or Google drive?

    https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export

So we can try to replicate this behavior.

    Best Regards

I can also give you a user account to find the issue in my live environment.

    Hi @1jd123

I hope you are doing well today.

I made a test on my lab site with your form and when I export data from submission page with my custom filters I get my custom CSV file without any additional data. Could you let us know in your next reply or share screenshot on how you filter setup looks like?

    Kind Regards,
    Kris

    I can’t because its blocked.
But I just want to list all users which haven’t been activated yet. The filter is working perfectly fine in the backend but as soon as I export it with the check on “Apply submissions filters” it is exporting every user.

    Hi @1jd123

    Thanks for response!

It’s actually helpful and now I was able to replicate the issue with my own form on my test setup. The issue seems to be related to specific filter of user status only as other filters are working perfectly fine for me (just like they did for my colleagues).

This one, however, doesn’t seem to affect CSV export indeed.

It seems to be a bug that we weren’t aware of. I have already reported it to our developers so they’ll look into it and include fix in one of future releases of the plugin.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Hi @1jd123,

I’m afraid, at the moment there isn’t any easy workaround that could be provided. I’m checking with our developer to see if there is any patch that could be looked at regarding this.

Will keep you posted once we get further feedback.

    Kind Regards,

Thats not the answer i hoped for.

Another major issue was found today. When i look into my list of users who have not yet activated their account i get a count of 800 users. But when i look into my wordpress database i have only about 200 not activated account. How is this possible? Where do you get your data from?

    Hi @1jd123,

We did check regarding the bug, and unfortunately, there isn’t an easy workaround at the moment and it’ll require editing the multiple files in the plugin core to resolve it. However, the downside would be if, there is a new plugin release then the changes done will be lost in the next update.

Could you please create a new ticket regarding this so that we could check further? Screenshots regarding where you notice these differences in users would also be helpful.

Trying to troubleshoot all the issues in one single ticket can cause miscommunication. I hope you understand.
