Export Options provides no download

  • When I attempt to export options, no download is generated. The token popup does appear, but there is no evident export product (such as a file with JSON, CSV, or what have you).

    Is this a bug or by design?

    If it’s by design, is there any way for me to export or otherwise generate a comprehensive summary of our Wordfence configuration so that it can be provided to our security team and security vendors for review offline?

    Hi @spencersronline, thanks for your message.

    The import/export requires a token rather than the downloading of physical files by design. I don’t believe there are any plans to change this, although the free tool Wordfence Central can allow administrators and teams to view multiple site configurations in one easy-to-manage location, if that would help you out.
