    Hi,

I want to export my google maps and map markers, but get a 403 when I try to do either. I am running the latest plugin version 1.9.1. Thank you

    Hello, @dusterthomas.

Can you specify, where exactly did you receive this error?
To export maps or markers, you should press on export button – does 403 error appear exactly after this? If so, I recommend you to write us via internal support to investigate such kind of issue in more details.

At this moment, you can try to check conflicts with other plugins or your theme as a general suggestion. Please try to deactivate all your plugins one by one and check the issue. Thus you will find out which plugin causes the error. If it won’t help, try to switch temporarily to a standard WordPress theme.

    Hi,

Thank you for the fast response. Yes, pressing the Export button resulted in a 403 error. I have now downloaded csv files directly from phpMyAdmin on the server, so I think that problem is solved.
The larger problem for me is that Google will require credit card information for the API soon. The website that runs your excellent plugin is a not for profit organisation and cannot supply a credit card number to Google, so I must look for an alternative for maps. Is there any chance that you will be adding Open Street Maps as an alternative for the many people who are wary about giving credit card information to Google. Thank you

Thank you for details about Google API coming updates. I redirected this information to our developers. We’ll discuss further actions about this, but most likely we should start searching for some alternatives.

One of the websites I manage runs on the Geodirectory plugin. I had always used the Google maps API, but the plugin had an option to enable Open Street Maps instead and all of the maps are now showing perfectly in OSM.

    Thank you once again.

    Hello, @dusterthomas
You should understand that it can take some time to develop and implement such option in plugin from scratch. Keep to updates on our official blog.
