    Hello.

When trying to export a table to Excel generates an .xml file. Is this as expected?

    Hi @txeteweb,

Thanks for letting us know. Exporting to Excel from the Data Explorer should generate a .xlsx file, but we were able to reproduce the issue that it generates a .xml file instead.

I’ve forwarded this issue to Peter so he can patch a fix right away. ?? We’ll let you know as soon as this is done.

In the meantime, if you have the premium version of the plugin, you can create a Data Table for this table, enable the export buttons using the Extension Manager, click Test, and then export to Excel the table from there.

    Here’s a demo: https://share.getcloudapp.com/ApulBLkp

Hope that helps! Let us know if you have more questions.

    Hi @txeteweb,

I just received a correction from Peter. This is what he said:

The Excel download is a jQuery DataTables extension. The version we currently use supports XML exports only. This is an older Excel format but still works with the latest Excel version.

In conclusion, you can still open the XML file using Excel. ??

Apologies for the confusion and please let us know if you have more questions.
