  • so something else went wrong with the results, not sure what happened but one person responded with a long answer and then after that half the answers are missing.

Where does the csv file get the info from? there doesn’t seem to be a DB or if there is what is it called.

I’m hoping I can figure out a manual fix for this one survey.

On a positive note it looks like the comma problem is fixed.

HI, I have recently added this extension which installed and runs without any problems, however when I open the CSV only some of the responses are there. I made sure they were all ‘required’ before submission. Is there a way of finding the rest of the data? Please help!!

At this time the exporter doesn’t export any of the free form data (text fields, textareas, email or number fields). I do appreciate the feedback, however.

Thanks for your reply Will. I appreciate that it is still in beta but I just wanted to clarify my previous question. All of my survey questions were the same (check boxes) and out of about 40 people who responded to the survey it shows answers from about 15. For example, question 1 has 15 answers showing in the spreadsheet and 25 blank answers. So for the same type of question it has exported some answers but not all. Is there a way of me getting to the missing bits of data?

    Many thanks

That does clarify the problem, thanks for that.

The data is stored in the wp_options table of your database in an option called wwm_awesome_surveys – If you’re comfortable working with phpMyAdmin AND if there’s no sensitive data in your survey I’d really like to get my hands on a dump of that to see if I can figure out why the export is incomplete.

Hi Will. I just completed my first survey with you plugin and I really like it. I tried to use the CSV export though and I’m getting some strange results. The answers in the CSV file are quite different in some cases than the data I’m seeing in the GUI results. There are answers in the CSV that it looks from the GUI like nobody chose.

I’m willing to send you the contents of the table, and even some screen shots of the GUI results if you’d be kind enough to look at them. I can also give you specifics about what data looks different, if you’d prefer that over screen shots.

    Thanks for great plug-in.

Thanks for a great plug-in. I use it on a casual WordPress site for members of a multi-player game called Clash of Clans. This is our clan blog, and we can survey our members using the plugin.

I have installed the export plugin extension, but find it generates incorrect data. I have tried it across as single question survey, as well as a 8 questions survey, and found that it definitely gives incorrect data, and I think also misses some responses as well.

I am happy to share data or participate in any way that could help address this.

I’ve installed the beta 0.4 and I can’t work out how to export a CSV. I don’t have any export buttons in My Surveys or when I view the results. And the Settings>Exports just dumps an XML out. Sorry I may be dumb here but where is the Export CSV feature? Running AS 2.0.3 with the 0.4 Export to CSV. Thx

i have downloaded the beta for the exporter – but where will i see it? it isn’t showing in the admin and i don’t see anything under WtWM…
