Export Users with Password

  • Hey,

    how do i export user with their passwords?

    When i export users the csv file has no password column. So when i export users from another website to my website, the users cant login.

    Since the internal export isn’t really intended as a site migration tool, passwords are not included in the default export. That’s kind of a security issue as well (which is another reason they’re excluded).

    There are some ways to customize that using the plugin’s available filters. However, in looking at it, there are some ways that this can be simplified and since a major update is already in the works (3.4), that would be the time to improve the process (which I have noted for review).
