    Hi
I have the free version of Wordfence (version 7.1.7)

When I click on the button ‘Export Wordfence Options’ , I see a yellow box at the right bottom corner that ‘Wordfence is Working’
    Afterwards I see nothing.

Should I see the key on the screen or should i receive a mail ?
Because I see nothing so I wonder if it works for me.

    Thanks

  • Hi @hugowachters

Yes, you should get something like this. Most probably there is a JS error preventing the page from working as it should. I suggest checking the browser console looking for any error being reported there. Here you are my suggestions which should help in this case:
    – If you have any plugin that has “Minify JS” options, try to disable it.
    – Clear cache from any caching plugin installed and disable Cloudflare Rocker Loader if it was enabled.
    – Try to do a plugin conflict test, this can be done by deactivating other plugins than Wordfence, then recheck this issue if everything went alright, then you can re-enable the plugins one by one till you figure out the culprit.

Alternatively, you might want to use “Health Check” plugin and enable “Troubleshooting mode“. The good thing about “Heath Check” plugin is that it’s developed by WordPress team and it only affects your logged in session so that other visitors won’t be affected.

Let me know how it goes,
    Thanks.
