export yahoo360 blog/ import to WP

For anyone intersted here a few bits that I just found that seem to point in the direction I am looking. Now to figure out if there is anything and if so what to do with this info;-)

WP has an RSS Import function (see “Import” when logged on as admin).

So, get your RSS feed from the old blog, save it to a file and feed it in to WP via the importer. This won’t catch comments, but it’ll get the articles.

The closest I ever figured out to do was take all my posts in yahoo 360 (you *can* manually scroll thru all the posts and grab permanent links to each even tho you cant generate an xml feed of all posts) and publish them as links in the first post of my new blog.

Latest post on the old yahoo 360 blog tells visitors the site is deprecated and has moved and gives new new url.

Not perfect but does actually kinda sorta solve the seo problem of duplicate content on both sites which you could have with a Blogger/WP migration. Dealing with with another site here are some links I found useful in this regard:
