Export/Import Appointments?

Hi, I’m operating in a development website environment for a client. So far i really love the features of this plug in. What got me thinking about this question was when/if i decide to move this site to the actual production site. I know there is an option to export the appointments as a CSV. Is there a way to import them? Just thinking of this as a backup feature, heaven forbid if for whatever reason the client lost all of their appointments! So anyway would there be any ideas to add this as a feature if it already is not possible to import? Thanks
