Export/Import files – Retailers/Publishers missing

  • Hi,

    I’m planning on moving my books (within my domain – multisite) and did a test run to make sure everything was working okay.

    All the books are there but the information I’ve entered regarding publishers and retailers is missing. The additional retailer images are not copied over. I’ve also added quite a few publishers, but this information is gone too. Is there a file I missed when I did the export?

    I exported and then imported ‘Books’ and ‘Tax Grid’.

    I don’t think there is a way to export your custom publishers, retailers, and formats via wordpress’s tool because they are custom options. (creating an importer specifically for Mooberry Book Manager is on my list.)

    You could try exporting/importing your media to get the images of the ones that came with Mooberry Book Manager.

    Alternatively, you could use the Mooberry Book Manager Image Fixer plugin to re-set the images that came with Mooberry Book Manager.

    Either way, unfortunately I believe you will have to re-add your custom ones manually. Sorry!
