Export/IMport Menu

    Hi,

    i am trying to use mega menu max with a theme i am developing and i want to somehow import the settings including the icons and mega menu settings for how many columns. How can i do this? I am using redux with the Webcreations one click demo import plugin is there a way to import the exact mega menu settings as well?

    Hi,

    I’m afraid not. The first step would be to ignore MMM, and see if you can import/export a menu structure from one site to another. You’ll find it is not as straight forward as you might think.

    I’ve just recently figured out a way to do what you are asking. I was actually trying to figure out a way to get ALL of my plugin’s settings to be exported and imported so that I don’t have to configure all the themes and settings on each new instance of WordPress.

    I actually did an entire database export, via WPCLI-export/import tools. It was surprisingly easy, and it may help you if you need to export/import many plugin settings.
