Exporting Brand of WooCommerce products

  • Hi,
    I’m having difficulties exporting brand parameter. It does not show up in the dataLayer.

    As a result, the enhanced eCommerce brand view in GA is missing data.

    Does the plugin support adding the brand parameter?

    Hi,

    WooCommerce by default does not have a brand parameter for products. There are several plugins out which gives you that functionality but I can not give you a general solution which would work with every plugin. Which brand plugin are you using currently?

    currently brand is just another parameter of a product. Like a color, size etc.

    How to map it to your plugin?

    Hi,

    Currently there is no such maping in the plugin.

    I will try to add this in an future version but I can not tell you currently an estimate when this could be included in a stable release. As we are closing to the xmas season, I only plan to release one more version this year next to any needed bug fix releases so that marketers do not have to worry about updates during xmas.
