    Hi,

    So I can successfully create an export, but when I import the zip file although it states that it has gone through OK and gives me two choices – view the site or check the permalink and whichever method I pick I get the following error message:

    There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

    There no error email, and it makes my site unuseable (although I can reset the site)

    Please can you advise

    Please turn on debugging by writing the following code in your wp-config.php and attempt again to restore. It should display the error details in the screen. Then send us the screenshot if error message displayes on the screen.

    define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true );
    define( ‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true );
    define( ‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, true );

    After enabling debugging in WordPress, if any error occurs it will save details in wp-content/debug.log within your site’s filesystem. Post here that log file so we can identify what’s going wrong.

    After posting details please remove those extra configuration from wp-config.php file for security reason.
