Exporting donors with addresses

    I exported the donors for a form that we are using, and I need the addresses to be in the export as well. I can see the addresses if I go to the donors and click on them individually, then click on their donation I see their billing addresses, but when I run the export, only one donor has an address in the columns for addresses.

    Hi @charlottejo — apologies for the extreme delay.

    That is a known issue, and it’s a bit complicated. Basically, the address you see in the Donor Details screen is the BILLING ADDRESS, which can be different from their MAILING ADDRESS. The billing address has to be connected to the donation because it’s related to their credit card info, or payment info. But the mailing address needs to be connected to the donor.

    Currently, we don’t have a seamless way to collect mailing addresses separately from billing address. So the export has the mailing address currently, but not the billing address.

    We are addressing this in Give 2.0 which we hope to release before the end of the year if possible.
